Ciuffani Field (at West Windsor Community Park)
Take Princeton-Hightstown road (cr 571) 2 lights past McCaffrey’s shopping center (Southfield Road), if coming from the Hightstown area or 2 lights past WWP High School South (Clarksville Road), if coming from the Princeton area. Turn into the park at the 2nd light. Ciuffani Field is at the back of the park.
Take Princeton-Hightstown road (cr 571) to Southfield Road (Mobil station / McCaffrey’s Shopping Center). Take Southfield (towards McCaffrey's) to the end. LEFT on Cranbury Neck Road. RIGHT on Grover’s Mill Road (if you go over the bridge, you went too far). Take Grover’s Mill Road past the schools to the light and make a RIGHT. Take this road to the end and make another RIGHT (Plainsboro Road). Go to the next light and make a LEFT (Schalks Crossing Road). Plainsboro Shopping center will be on your left. Go STRAIGHT thru the next 3 lights (last one at Scudder’s Mill Road) for about a mile past Scudder's Mill Road and make a RIGHT on Parker Road. At this point:
A.
Go about 3 blocks and Schalks Meadow Park is
on the right. The baseball field is in the back behind the park.
OR
B.
Make the 2nd RIGHT (Parker Road S.)
and then the 1st LEFT (McKenzie drive). The entrance to the park is
just to the right of the 1st house on the left after turning onto
McKenzie and is lined by 2 ranch style fences.
“B” is closer to the baseball field.
(From West Windsor): Take Princeton-Hightstown road (cr 571) to Southfield Road (Mobil station / McCaffrey’s Shopping Center). Take Southfield (towards McCaffrey's) to the end. RIGHT onto Cranbury Neck Road. LEFT onto George Davidson Road. RIGHT (at light) onto Plainsboro Road. LEFT onto Scotts Corner Road. STRAIGHT thru light at Dey Road. Make the first LEFT onto Woodland Drive and the parking lot entrance for PC5 is about ½ mile on the RIGHT, just across from the Plainsboro Public Works.
Babe Ruth games are played at hardball field #1. There's no sign for the field. Enter the park from Old Trenton Road and make the third possible LEFT (counting "U" turn areas). This is where you would turn for the skating rink (which you can see at the turn). Go past the field immediately on the left and just as you get to the 2nd field, make a LEFT on the small road (before you make this left, the skating rink will be to your right). Go down one more field and field #1 is on the right. Field #1 is the only baseball field with lights!
Take Princeton-Hightstown Road (Rt 571) into Hightstown. Stay on 571 past the Peddie school and 571 will turn left, as 539 stays straight. Continue STRAIGHT on 539, go over the NJ Turnpike and make a LEFT at the next light (Perrineville Road) and then a quick RIGHT turn in to the Hancock Field complex. It will almost look like you’re pulling into someone’s driveway!
PAL Complex (Hightstown) - aka "East Windsor PAL"
Take Princeton-Hightstown Road (Rt 571) into Hightstown and make a RIGHT onto Main St. Stay on Main St. and make a LEFT onto Airport Road (there is a bike store on the corner - if you get to Home Depot, you went too far). The PAL complex is about ½ mile down the road on the left.
From Route 1: Take the Harrison Street Exit into Princeton. Stay on Harrison Street for about 2 1/2 miles. You will pass through five lighted intersections (Prospect, Nassau St., Hamilton, Valley Rd, and Terhune). At the Valley Road intersection, you will see the Princeton Shopping Center to your right. Just past the Terhune intersection, there's a "Y" intersection where you bear RIGHT onto Bunn Drive. Stay on Bunn and drive to the top of the hill. Hilltop Park will be to your LEFT. Park in the gravel parking lot.
From Route 1: Take the Harrison Street Exit into Princeton. Stay on Harrison Street for about 2 1/2 miles. You will pass through five lighted intersections (Prospect, Nassau St., Hamilton, Valley Rd, and Terhune). Make a RIGHT onto Terhune and take it all the way until it ends (a few miles at a "T"). Make a LEFT and the entrance to Smoyer Field will be about ¼ mile on the RIGHT.
Take I95 South to Exit 3 (Scotch Rd). Make a RIGHT at the end of the exit ramp and follow Scotch road for about 1 - 1½ miles and the field complex will be on the LEFT.
Take I95 South to 206 South. The second light will be Eggert's Crossing Road. Make a RIGHT and go about a mile and the field complex will be on the RIGHT. The Babe Ruth fields are the last ones that you'll come to.
Take Old Trenton Road past 5 points (where Nottingham way meets Old Trenton Road and Quakerbridge Road). Continue Straight and make a LEFT onto Hamilton Avenue (if you go under 295 without making the left, you went too far). Continue straight for 2 or 3 lights and make a LEFT onto Kuser Road. The field is not too far down Kuser on the RIGHT, just past the High School.
Take 206 North. About 5 miles North of Princeton Airport, 206 makes a 90° right turn (can't miss it, lights, arrows, etc.). Make a LEFT as the road begins to turn and then the first (I think) LEFT after that (there's a sign for the field complex). After that left, the road turns into a dirt road. Continue straight to the fields. It's easier than it sounds.
Take I95 South to 206 South. The second light will be Eggert's Crossing Road. Make a RIGHT and go to the end where the road will come to a “T” and there will be a traffic light. Make a LEFT and go 1 – 1½ miles and Moody Park will be on the LEFT side.
Take I95 into PA. Get off at the first exit in PA and make a RIGHT. Go one block and make another RIGHT. Continue (not too far) to Route 32 and make another RIGHT. Continue down Rt 32 and the field will be on your RIGHT just after you go under the railroad tracks (the river is on your LEFT).
Take Old Trenton Road (Rt 535) past Mercer County Community College and make
a LEFT onto Hughes (the next light). Take Hughes to the end (about ½ mile) to
Mercer St. and make a RIGHT. At Nottingham Way (the light), you'll keep going
STRAIGHT (it's actually a slight jog to the left and becomes a one way street at
this point). The next light is Rt 33 and a "Blockbuster Video" will be across on
the right. Keep going STRAIGHT (it's a two way street again) for a few miles and
you'll go over I195. The next light is South Broad Street. Make a RIGHT onto
South Broad, go about ¼ mile to Joe DiMaggio Drive (you'll see a sign for the
park) and make a LEFT. Follow this into the park. The 13-15 year old Babe Ruth
World Series was played here in 2001. This field is also the birthplace of the
Babe Ruth League in 1951.
Another way to get there is to go down Route 130 and
keep RIGHT when it forks (after you go past I195, there is Giovi's Restaurant at
the fork). Then make a RIGHT onto South Broad Street and continue to Joe
DiMaggio Drive as above.
From 130 Southbound: Make a RIGHT onto Kuser Road (Abetter Pizza is on the corner). Follow Kuser Road through 2 traffic lights, then make a RIGHT into the South Entrance of Veterans Park. The field will be just past the tennis courts on your right.
From Old Trenton Road: Take Old Trenton Road (Rt 535) past Mercer County Community College and make a LEFT onto Hughes (the next light). Take Hughes to the end (about ½ mile) to Mercer St. and make a RIGHT. At Nottingham Way (the light), you'll keep going STRAIGHT (it's actually a slight jog to the left and becomes a one way street at this point). The next light is Rt 33 and a "Blockbuster Video" will be across on the right. Keep going STRAIGHT (it's a two way street again) for a mile or two and then make a RIGHT onto Kuser Road (traffic light). Follow Kuser and then make a RIGHT into the South Entrance of Veterans Park. The field will be just past the tennis courts on your right.
Take Route 133 (entrance near Old Trenton Road and Princeton-Hightstown road) to Route 33 (which is the other end of 133) and make a LEFT onto Route 33. Make a RIGHT onto Perrineville Rd. (Lobster Shanty Restaurant on opposite corner. Travel approx. 2 miles to the first stop sign, make two immediate rights and continue on Perrineville Rd. The field entrance is one mile from intersection on the right. AS YOU ENTER FIELD ENTRANCE MAKE IMMEDIATE RIGHT TO WESTERN MONMOUTH FIELD.
The field is located in Mansfield Community Park just off of East Main Street in Columbus, NJ 08022. Take Route 130 SOUTH into Bordentown, where it merges with Route 206. Taking Route 206 SOUTH from Bordentown, take the Columbus exit. At the stop sign make a LEFT onto West Main Street. Go straight through light and make a RIGHT into Mansfield Community Park about 50 yards past light. The field is about half way down the parking lot.
